Of work, travel, and collecting a minion

hello all… been a busy few days since I last posted… been working god awful long days, closed out my part of one project and relocated to start work for another client… so between work and travel i’m whipped. Been working all day today but the nature of what I’m doing makes it real easy to work and goof off at the same time (gotta love virtual machines). Anyway I’ve been spending a bunch of time in SL today, not doing anything useful (sorry Matt and Aem) but just prowling around doing what vamps tend to do… Oh yeah…. did I mention…. I’m a vampire. Don’t laugh, I’ve played a vamp in many other worlds, times and places so it is very much part of the RL personality and as such a very big part of my SL existance. The vampire bit i’m sure will be a repeated discussion point as time goes on *chuckles*. The reason this comes up is I’ve aquired a minion… a pet…. a sub… a toy…. I think you get the point. Now I’ve dabbled in the D/s thing in the past as a Domme but I’m not a Domme and any real sence of the word (at least IMO). But I am a vamp as I said and AnneMaire (my newly minted minion) intrigues me greatly and offered herself to me in such a fashion that being a vamp it was impossible to say no. She is very submissive but seems to have much strength under all that so I think i am seeing the real deal and not just one that plays at it. I am awed that she would place her trust in me with so litte knowledge… hmmm mebe she is an ALT of someone I know…. I wonder…. *cut to voice over as the plot thickens* Tune in next time to hear Happy say…”What the F*&K did I just do!!!”

End of Another Day

Hello again all… As you can see I poked at the blog stuff and have a music spot thing and a calender. Gonna add links to my friends blogs and sutff as soon as I take time to figure that out.

I find myself setting here, chilln from a long day, logged into SecondLife, hanging with two of the friends around Aemi and Ashe…  and I realize that I have been playing SL for a year now…. Happy Rezz Day to Me!

What is SecondLife you ask? Well it is a game/not game where one goes and creates an alternative (and not so alternative) existance for ones self. Unlike other MMORPGs type games (WoW for example) every thing you meet in the game has a real live human type person pushing the buttons that make it go.

Mainly for me its been a place of exploration and learning. Explorations of the worlds and places built there and learning new skills that are needed to add to the content (junk,stuff,swag) of the game. Its also been a place of personal exploration and learning. SL give one (me for sure) a safe place to poke at the dark corners in ones mind and see what Jumps out. It is also a very cool place to meet people from all over the freaking world. I’ve now met and know people from east to west in the USA, all over Europe, in South American, Canada, Austrailia, Philippines, Japan, Russia… well you get the point. Some of these people have become VERY close friends of mine. Closer then just about anyone I know in my RealLife. Aemillia, Shai, Andy, Ashe, Corwin, Kiri, Matt, Pushy, ’suko, Baxt… people on the otherside of electronic dolls we take out and play with. People that make me smile, laugh, and some times cry. People that I hold dear…. and in some cases, people that I feel so much for it scares me. Before SL, feeling was not something I did very often……. Its these people that keep me coming back.

Well…. Now what?

hmmm…..  well here is my blog.   Why did I create this you may ask, and so am I.   Most everyone else I know has one and I’m such a mindless follower of fashion I guess.  The reality of the situation is this will be my place to babble about my experiences in SecondLife and RealLife seems as they have become intertwined.   So welcome to the blog…  signing off for now to poke at the pages controls and see what I can break…   see ya later
